So Long Emmy Ruth...

On Thanksgiving Day this little sweetheart came and told us goodbye. She passed court a few weeks ago and went up to Addis Ababa to wait for her new family. Her new Daddy and big brother Alex were kind enough to bring her to Adama for a final farewell. Everyone here loved her so…she was the little queen. We know God has great plans for her life! This is what it’s all about …an orphan being adopted into a new forever family …a wonderful family doing their best to fix what this world has broken. God bless you “R” family!

Praise God for a happy future for that beautiful girl. And Praise Him for having your help in caring for her during this transition.

Yay for Emmy Ruth! I know her forever family is truly thankFULL to have her. Despite the joy of having her, I know they are feeling a tinge of pain and sorrow to take her from her beautiful country and loving people like you and Kenli. It never leaves you. Even when they're decked out in all-American clothes and toys up to their eyeballs, it's still there.

Oh this little girl is going to have a wonderful life! She is surrounded by a new loving adopted family as well as an extended group of people who have already grafted into th "R" family. I am so blessed to be counted among them and am counting the days until they allow visitors to meet their new little angel.
